When it comes to winter clothing there are plenty of fit variations to consider. The fit of your winter clothing and outerwear is essential because it emphasises your body shape and determines how your entire ensemble looks.

Wear the right layers of a tweed jacket- Ensuring the right fit of a jacket or coat isn't an easy concept for many men, though. Consider these tips to ensure you are wearing the right outerwear for your men's suits and dress shirts.

Shop tweed jackets and coats online- Tweed Jackets and Coats: Essential Tips

Your Neck- Make sure there isn't a large gap between your suits and the jacket. The top of your men's tweed jackets should lie close to your neck, and if you are wearing an over-coat with a collar that can be fastened at the neck and turned up, you need to make sure it isn't too tight or too loose. You should still be able to comfortably take a deep breath with it fastened.

Torso- The body of your tweed jacket shouldn't be tight; it should allow you plenty of room so you can layer a sweater or other items of clothing underneath. That said it should also be as slim as possible.

Front of Jacket- You should always be able to button your coat or jacket, and still have enough space between the jacket and your body to allow for full range of motion and layered clothing. The button located just above your navel is something you should be able to button. If the coat isn't cropped, you generally won't need to fasten any buttons below this, unless of course you need additional protection from cold weather or wind.

Measure Shoulders- Measure your shoulders to ensure the seams tie at the corner of your shoulder and measure while you are wearing items of clothing you will be wearing beneath the jacket. This ensure the shoulders of your jacket are high enough to move your arms freely without feeling constricted.

Shop amazing tweed jacket- Sleeves- In most cases, light coats and tweed jackets need to have sleeves that end at the base of your palm and are able to cover the sleeves of your suit jacket, dress shirt, or V-neck. For those heavy coats thought, you can have longer sleeves.

Consider these aspects when choosing coats with the right fit. Feel confident and look perfect this season!
